Lace Dosia
CADALACIN THREW THE HOOD Play
BANGIN MAGAZINE INTERVIEW

BM: What's the name of your album & why did you name it that?

Lace Dosia: The name of my album is "*Str8 Lace No Chase*". During my career of knockin down shows and selling underground cd's "out the trunk", I've always collaborated with groups. So I named it that because I went solo, this is all on me. Plus it's that raw uncut live & direct all in ya face type music.

BM: Who did you work with on this project?

Lace Dosia: First of all I worked with the Captain of the Team & Multi-Platinum super producer Keith "Clizark" Clark, who definately laced me with some high-powered music. I was blessed with some head bangers you can sink ya teeth into from Godxilla who hails from the Mid-West. Bay Area's own Ddot$ dished me some slapp as well as some of that spit. And last but not least Rap ID delivered some of that knock.

BM: With all eyes focused on "The Take Off" is there any pressure to work on your solo album?

Lace Dosia: Definately the pressure is on, cause like Clizark say "we takin off & we ain't landin, Jack". Plus this is my first solo project, but it's nothin, nuttin but slappers, watch what I tell you!

BM: What's your favorite song on your album?

Lace Dosia: My favorite song on the album is "No Real Gangsters", because it's from the heart & comes from an actual situation I've experienced. Man, you could just turn on the T.V. and watch the First 48 and see that it's all kinds of fools out there tellin thangs that they ain't got no business talkin bout.

BANGIN MAGAZINE INTERVIEW

BM: What's the name of your album & why did you name it that?

Risse Cakkes: The name of the album is called Pink Lemonade,
Reason being, like Pink Lemonade I can be sweet yet sour, there is always 2 sides to the Candie Gurl mean or nice, giggly or grimy, when the two blend its a hell of a combination making people want more not knowing if its the sweet or sour side.

BM: Who did you work with on your project?

Risse Cakkes: Some of the producers and artist i worked with on this album is Keith Clizark, Multi-platinum producer and C.E.O. of Team Mash'n, Producer/engeener Bigg Joe who worked with artist like T.I and Dre, Pretty Todd producer for the Grit Boys and Paul Waul, Bigga Boss Producer and artist, Godxilla the (Mid-West) Beat Battle Champ, Producers C-Tone and E1 from EDH Productions, Stupid Geinus,Malaki and Shanell, I can't help but go platinum!

BM: With all eyes focused on "The Take Off" is there any pressure to work on your solo album?

Risse Cakkes: With so much focus on "The Take Off" DVD/Sound track I really don't feel the pressure, it actually motivates me to finish my album, its exciting when i listen to the take off mix Tape it shows the talent of all the artist and whats to come and that brings excitement not stress!

BM: What's your favorite song on the album?

Risse Cakkes: I cant say i have a favorite song on the album if i did i would be lying but to pick one of my most jiggyist songs it would have to be step outside it shows my attitude, style and sexiness all in one song.

BM: I heard you ripped the stage, what was that all about?

Risse Cakkes: Ripped the stage? last month on the 14th. i Actually opened the show that night with one of my favorite songs Suppa Star. I was the only female MC that performed that night and shocked the hell out of a lot of people. when i finished my performance i had the crowed singing the hook and ladies coming up to me telling me they feel the pro women movement and how a new female artist was needed.

BANGIN MAGAZINE INTERVIEW

BM: What is the name of the album and why did you name it that?

Herculeez: "Chip wit Dip," because Chip with Dip represents the hustlers that go hard in the paint, to get that money. (Most people are happy with being rich. I need Chip with Dip!) I'm try'n to get wealthy.

BM: Who did you collaborate with on your album?

Herculeez: The whole L.A. Zu, Deadly Threat, Bo Roc from the LBC, Kali Kain and Rick Hard. As for producers, Keith Clizark, Broadway, Password, DBG, and West Los.

BM: With all eye's set on " The Take Off" has there been any pressure with you recording your solo album?

Herculeez: No pressure at all. I'm actually really excited about " The Take Off " dropping first because it is just a heads up to everybody that Team Mash'n is here!

BM: How did you hook up with Keith Clizark?

Herculeez: I met Clizark in traffic just getting my "Chip wit Dip" on, and through a mutual friend at the Animal Kingdom. We hooked up in his studio and we been making hits to this day.

I fucked with Lace Dosia (T.M.E.), Rukuz 1 (Table of Contents),Big Biznezz(P-Dub), Syko(P-Dub),Bo Rocc (Dub Shack), with projects in the making with Black Mac(T.M.E) for starters. To even it out, I'm fuckin with a couple of my knots from Pasadena, L.A. , San Bernardino & Pamona.

BM: With all eyes focused on the take off was there any pressure focusing on your debut record?

430: I feel like all eyes are on me.They say pressure bust pipes, so you know what it could do to skin & bones. What I do is reroute negative energy into sweet sixteens.

Platinum Experience Tour

 “What Makes a Hit Record?”

Nationwide Platinum Experience Tour Hits the Road:

Learn the secrets and strategies of multi-platinum music producers!

We are excited to offer your institution an opportunity to participate in the Platinum Experience Tour’s music production seminar entitled “What Makes a Hit Record,” hosted by multi-platinum music producer Keith Clark and engineering wizard Joseph Warlick.

Total combined sales of over 50 million records!

With combined production credits totaling over 50 million records sold, these two industry giants have worked with many of today’s music superstars including:  Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Tupac Shakur, G-Unit, LL Cool J, The Game.

“If you pull back the curtain in the music industry, you’ll find that the wizard behind Oz is the music producer.  And, unlike the process of yester year, today’s producer takes a more direct and complex role in the musical process.  In fact, the producer may be the only person involved in creating the master recording for release: writing, performing, recording, arranging, mixing and mastering their own product.  With creativity and the right mix of elements, they make nothing less than magic,” said producer Clark.

In an effort to enhance and promote media arts nationwide, the Platinum Experience Tour provides a unique opportunity for music students to gain valuable insight and knowledge from active music industry professionals through face-to-face interaction.  During this information-packed session, students will go behind the scenes of production to learn the state-of-the-art in recording techniques, producing and mixing.

The seminar is an open forum discussion with a panel of record industry experts.  This discussion will integrate music producers, studio engineers, and songwriters – providing a well-rounded perspective on making hit records.

The Platinum Experience Tour is heading your way!  Book your seminar today!  We look forward to sharing with you the keys to success in music production.

Best regards,

Producer Discography

You may not recognize their names… but their body of work speaks for itself!

Keith “Clizark” Clark

Can you say over 10 million records sold!  That’s right.  Keith Clark is one of the industry’s best-kept secrets and the epitome of a new breed of business savvy music entrepreneurs.  Although he has produced multi-platinum hit records for Snoop Doog, Tha Eastsidaz, Master P, The Dove Shack, Kurupt, Mystical, T.R.U. and many other musicians, and his music featured in such motion pictures and television shows as “What’s the Worst That Could Happen,” “Trippin’,” “Being Bobby Brown,” and “Pimp My Ride,” Keith continues to fly under the industry radar – inspiring creativity and consistently delivering high-quality music production for today’s leading rap artists.  But the secret is out, and coming your way!

Joe Warlick

A music engineer extraordinaire, Joe’s music production discography reads like a “who’s who” of music superstars:  G-Unit, T.I., Bow Wow, Rakim, Mack 10, the Doobie Brothers and the legendary Diana Ross.  And, the beat goes on… Joe engineered T.I.’s recent chart-topping album, “T.I. vs. T.I.P.”, which achieved #1 on the Billboard 200 chart in July of 2007.  Additionally, Joe’s work has appeared on the big screen, with soundtracks for the motion pictures “Like Mike” starring Bow Wow, and “The Wash” with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.  Leaving hit records in his wake, this master of music is ready to mix it up!
